Nature Fest is a full day celebration of nature’s treasures in Wayne County. It includes hikes, presentations, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Nature Fest began in 2014 as an effort to showcase and learn more about the magical world of nature in Wayne County and the surrounding area. We are fortunate to have an abundance of opportunities to enjoy nature: on lakes, in parks, along creeks, in forests, on trails, and even in our own backyards.
We have tapped into the wealth of knowledgeable people willing to share their expertise through hikes, presentations and activities that focus on our land, water, air and animals. Combine these resources with the expertise and you have Nature Fest. Each year the event grows bigger and better with new speakers, topics and activities.
